FarmN Pty Ltd is proud to announce that it is providing carbon services to the GEGHA project, including project services for high-value, high-integrity Verified Emission Reduction Credits (GS-VERs) with Gold Standard™ and a preliminary Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), both of which have supported this Financial Close milestone.

These services leverage FarmN's world-first technology-agnostic carbon accounting methodology supporting the manufacture of low-emission nitrogen fertilizers.

"FarmN is thrilled to be part of the GEGHA project and to contribute our expertise in carbon accounting and sustainability," said Carl Richardson, Managing Director of FarmN Pty Ltd. We are committed to helping our clients achieve their sustainability goals through innovative and effective solutions."

Ammonia – whether it is used as a fuel, energy source or fertilizer is hard to abate.  The additional cost of low emission technology or CCUS ‘prices’ low emission ammonia out of the market.  To accelerate the adoption of low emission technology and/or CCUS in this hard to abate sector, intervention is required.  In the absence of government regulations or prices on carbon in this sector; carbon services through the generation of voluntary carbon credits and the provision of Life Cycle Assessments to support applications for government subsidies can make all the difference.
